UGC rate calculator

“A brand asked for my rates, what do I say??” Pick where you are and what the brand wants, and you get an itemized quote with the same numbers I use. Prices are per finished vertical video, as of October 2026.

Short answer

A UGC quote is your base rate × the number of videos (about 13% off from three videos), plus paid usage at 30–50% of the video price per 30 days, whitelisting at $150–$400 per 30 days, exclusivity at 20–30% per month, rush at +25% to +100%, and extras like raw footage (25–50%) or extra hooks ($30–$60 each). As of October 2026 most creators start with 3–5 gifted collabs, then charge $100–$150 per video, $150–$250 with a portfolio and $250–$500 with repeat clients.

How the calculator prices a UGC deal

It uses the formula from my UGC rates 2026 guide:Quote = (Base × Videos × Bundle) + Usage + Whitelisting + Exclusivity + Rush + Extras. The big number is the typical price; the range under it is the low and high end creators quote for the same add-ons.

The worked example button loads the brief I break down in the guide: a skincare brand, three videos, ads for two months, delivery within a week. At a $150 base it comes to about $765. Priced in a panic at “$100 a video, usage included”, the same brief is $300.

Honest note: on my own card I don’t charge for rush or raw footage, and two hook variations are included. I use them as a reason to say yes. Usage I always price, because that is where the brand makes money from the video (usage rights explained). How my card looks and how I send it is inUGC rate card and media kit.

Frequently asked

How much should I charge for one UGC video?

After 3–5 gifted collabs, $100–$150 per finished video for organic use, then $150–$250 once you have 5–15 paid videos. Raise the base 20–30% every five paid videos. My first paid video was $100 at 14 followers; my rate card now says $350.

How do I price paid usage rights for UGC?

Organic use on the brand’s own accounts is normally included. Running the video as an ad is paid usage: 30–50% of the video price per 30 days, and 3–4× the video price if the brand wants it with no end date.

Should I charge if a brand only offers gifted product?

For your first 3–5 collabs, gifted product is a fair trade for portfolio content, as long as it is organic use only and you can show the video. If the brand wants to run it as an ad, that is paid usage and gets priced even on a gifted collab.

How much is a 3-video UGC bundle?

About 2.6× a single video, so roughly 13% off per video. My own card says $350 for one video and $900 for three. Usage and whitelisting are priced on top of the bundle, not inside it.

Do follower counts change UGC rates?

No. The brand posts UGC on its own channels and ads, so you are paid for the video, not your audience. A post on your own account is a different product and is priced separately.
